This policy explains what Coshell collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Coshell is a hosted, multiplayer cloud workspace where your team works with a coding agent in shared live sessions. We try to collect as little as we can to run the service well.
What we collect
- Account information. Your name, email, and the organization you belong to, so we can sign you in and associate your drives with you.
- Usage and billing data. Drive activity, so we can run and scale drives. Self-hosting is free; billing applies only to Teams plans.
- Your content. The files, code, terminal activity, prompts, and messages inside your drives, which we process to operate the agent and the shared session. Your code lives in your drives and is pushed to your own git repositories.
- Operational logs. Limited technical logs needed to keep drives healthy, secure, and debuggable.
Your model keys
You can bring your own model keys. When you do, your prompts are sent to the model provider you chose using your key, and that usage is billed by your provider, not by us. Free models are available through OpenCode’s gateway. Admins choose the allowed model set per drive.
How we use your data
- To operate the agent, the shared session, and your drives.
- To operate drives and bill Teams plans.
- To provide support, keep the service secure, and fix problems.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use the contents of your drives to train models.
Who we share it with
We share data with the infrastructure and payment processors we use to run Coshell, only as needed to provide the service. When you use a model, your prompts go to that provider under your key. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
Security
Each drive runs isolated, on its own per-drive network, with its own scoped access token. No global signing secret is stored on a drive. Traffic is encrypted in transit. On the Enterprise tier, Coshell can run on your own infrastructure, so your code never leaves your environment.
Data retention and deletion
Your drives persist until you delete them. A self-hosted drive runs on your own machine. You can delete a drive, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by emailing help@coshell.ai.
Your choices
You can access, export, or delete your data. Email help@coshell.ai and we will help. We keep a small number of cookies and local storage values needed to sign you in and remember your theme.
Changes
We will update this policy as the product evolves and note the date above when we do. Questions? Email help@coshell.ai. See also our Terms of Service.
